This International Standard develop by Professor Tony Bendell, the respected academic and fellow of the Royal Statistical Society sets out to clarify and standardise the competencies for personnel and organisations in Six Sigma, Lean and Lean Six Sigma.

To date the ambiguity in terms of Lean and Six Sigma, has been at best confusing, before this ISO, and contrary to popular opinion there was no universal standard on what constitutes a Black Belt or a Lean Practitioner, this standard sets out to rectify that.

We offer a variety of packages, to suit business and individuals, which provide the training and support needed to achieve ISO certification, these are tailored to your needs as not all will be starting form the same place, all training materials have been accredited for use by the Royal Statical Society.

Packages for both Businesses and Individuals include:

  • Initial Assessment – at individual or business level.
  • GAP Analysis.
  • Full or Customised Training Plan.

ISO 18404 For Individuals

Given that this is a unique ISO in that it can be completed at an individual level rather than the as a business we offer three packages to support the individual from start through to certification.

All Packages

Package 1

The basic package, suitable of an experienced and practising Lean/CI Practitioner:
  1. Cloud based Evidence Portfolio.
  2. Review of the ISO Standard with a member of the Smartworxs team.
  3. Review and report of submitted evidence on completion.
  4. Final Interview.
  5. Registration and Certification.
  6. Cloud based storage of the completed portfolio and prompt when the first review is required.

Package 2

The more comprehensive package, again suitable for an experienced and practising Lean/CI Practitioner:

The more comprehensive package, again suitable for an experienced and practising Lean/CI Practitioner:
  1. Cloud based Evidence Portfolio.
  2. Review of the ISO Standard with a member of the Smartworxs team.
  3. Personal GAP analysis.
  4. Review and report of submitted evidence on completion of each element.
  5. Ten fortnightly progress reviews, each review will give you 1 hour of 1-to-1 support.
  6. Online and telephone support for a maximum of 10 months.
  7. Final Interview.
  8. Registration and Certification.
  9. Cloud based storage of the completed portfolio and prompt when the first review is required.

Package 3

The final package is suitable for individuals but is more cost effective for

  1. Cloud based Evidence Portfolio.
  2. Personal/Team GAP analysis.
  3. Four Days of training which covers all the elements required for the Lean Practitioner.
  4. Review of the ISO Standard with a member of the Smartworxs team.
  5. Review and report of submitted evidence on completion of each element.
  6. Ten fortnightly progress reviews, each review will give you 1 hour of 1-to-1 support.
  7. Online and telephone support for a maximum of 10 months.
  8. Final Interview.
  9. Registration and Certification.
  10. Cloud based storage of the completed portfolio and prompt when the first review is required.
